Dr. Sadek is a seasoned expert in the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt, north Africa and Middle East regions with more than 35 years of experience in marketing, sales and organizational management.

Dr. Sadek began his career with Sandoz where he developed his experience in sales and marketing new pharmaceutical products to the Egyptian market.

He rapidly rose up the ranks in Sandoz to lead its transplantation business. Leading the sales, marketing and product management of the aforementioned business.

Dr. Sadek’s experience and responsibilities grow further as he transitioned to Novartis where he became the business unit head for immunology, transplantation and infectious diseases for north Africa, Egypt and levant regions managing more than USD 50 million in sales and teams across 10 countries.

Dr. Sadek further added to his experience by leading the neuro-degenerative diseases, fertility and endocrinology business unit at Merck Serono Egypt where he debuted a new model for patient care specially with newly introduced products.

Dr. Sadek currently consults companies considering developing and introducing new products to the Egyptian market as well as leading the operations of Monalisa biotechnology where he leads a talented and experienced team in providing patient support services for reputable pharmaceutical clients

Dr. Sadek is a licensed pharmacist in Egypt and Canada, where he is graduated from Cairo university on 1978 and got his license from Canada on 2009 where he practices his pharmaceutical skills in different provinces.

Dr. Sadek got the certificates of Salesman Ship & Marketing and Business Administration from AUC in 1988 and 1989 respectively.

Dr. Wadie appointed as business unit director for Merck KGAA in early 2000 bringing with him more than 13 years of experience in sales and marketing for cardio metabolic care & general medicine business in Egypt and the middle east.

Dr. Wadie developed his experience in leading new pharmaceutical products to the Egyptian market as a CMC business unit head at Merck KGAA leading 132 employee including sales, marketing and commercial excellence manager. He developed around 20 employees in different positions locally, regionally and globally in different departments (marketing, sales, SFE, HR, regulatory and medical) in different tasks like cardio metabolic, fertility, neurology, endocrinology and biotic.

Upon joining Merck KGAA at 2000 Merck it was ranking  number 32 with a sales value of LE MIO 32 , within all the pharmaceutical companies , with his passion and commitment he led   Merck KGAA in 2018  to be ranking number 14 with sales value of le billion 1.3.

During his last 19 years at Merck KGAA , he got six global awards and lot of GMA marketing initiatives adopted globally in which the CMC Egypt business unit   become the hob of reference for any new product launch success

Prior to joining Merck KGAA , Dr. Wadie had been the national sales manager for Serono scientific office , since 1997, leading the fertility and neurology business where he headed and managed the sales team in Egypt governorate, prior that he spent 10 years as district manager in boots and knoll scientific office in Cairo / Alexandria offices.
